Tragedy MH17 one united people




Muar: Efforts to dismantle tragedy Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Flight MH17 last Thursday have been able to unite the people in the country, said Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. 

Incident, he said, should be a lesson by the people on the importance of enhancing the spirit of cooperation and unity, especially in the face of such incidents.





"Thank God, the spirit of unity and awareness among Malaysians in this event is very clear," he said when speaking at a breaking of fast with the locals at the Surau Al-Saadiah here tonight. 

He said this can be proved through Parliament Special today where all members of parliament including the opposition unanimously condemned the incident that led to the fateful plane crash caused 298 passengers including crew members were killed. 


Muhyiddin said the special session, the government and the opposition united together and also expressed mixed emotions about the tragedy. 


Muhyiddin also reiterated the government's position to continue to seek justice for finding the cause of the plane crash MH17. 

"We, as a responsible government will continue to take steps to demand justice for all who perished. 

"Who are we looking for causes that have led to this tragedy," he said. 

He also acknowledged the tragedy MH17 also cause this time for Hari Raya is celebrated in an atmosphere of sorrow by society. 

Earlier, Muhyiddin presented contributions UDA Holdings to 30 recipients of the recipients. 

Also present were his wife, Puan Sri Noorainee Abdul Rahman, Member of Legislative Assembly (Assemblyman) Jorak, Dr Syahruddin Md Salleh and Managing Director of UDA Holdings Ahmad Abu Bakar.
